In February 2019, LJMU joined the Universities Studying Slavery Consortium (USS), based at the University of Virginia.
On 17th March 2021 Helen Sharman, the first British person in Space and first British Astronaut will give a talk at Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU). Helen will be speaking about her life and career as a scientist and as the first British astronaut.
Submissions are still invited from staff and students and collaborative partner institutions, as well as other colleagues working in post-16 education.
