  4. Chris Burgess

    Chris was born during the Second World War and only studied at university much later in life, like many of the mature students that choose to study with LJMU. He also had a late dyslexia diagnosis, making him realise he just had a different way of thinking and learning.

    The School of Humanities and Social Science's research sits within the following research groups: The Centre for the Study of Crime, Criminalisation and Social Exclusion, the Research Centre for Literature and Cultural History, History and the Centre for Port and Maritime History.

    The LJMU Ethnically Diverse Staff Network is open to staff whom identify as Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic, in the first instance.

    HIV services and prevention work within the North West of England utilise the Public Health Institute's interactive tools, databases, and intelligence work. We offer assistance through evaluations and research into: contraception, teenage pregnancy, STDs, young people's health.     The Faces of Merseyside was created and presented by Face Lab. The project shows the average facial images of people in Merseyside based on their occupations and interests.
