LJMU has honoured 10 new fellows as part of its Bicentenary celebrations at a memorable event at St George’s Hall.
The LJMU-Qatar Alumni Association has launched to bring together alumni and foster collaboration, mentorship, and active community engagement among graduates.
The police staff, drawn from Nottinghamshire Police, West Midlands Police and British Transport Police, secured the scholarship opportunity under an initiative known as Project Harpocrates. The project seeks to support law enforcement efforts to recruit and retain staff in the highly specialist area of covert operations and specialist intelligence. Whilst the project was open to all officers one of the specific aims of the project is to increase the representation of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic staff (BAME) in this challenging and exciting area of investigation and intelligence management.
LJMU is one of 15 teams to win the Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence (CATE) and an LJMU academic has also been awarded one of 54 National Teaching Fellows (NTF). Dr Philip Denton, Principal Lecturer at the School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences, is the recipient of the NTF and the paramedic team at LJMU’s Schools of Nursing and Allied Health received the CATE.
The survey will be conducted between the hours of 9am and 5pm from Monday 5 to Friday 9 February 2024.
The annual survey and audit of teaching space will take place across the university between the hours of 9am and 5pm from Monday 23 to Friday 27 October 2023.
From walking tours around the city, crafts and bibliotherapy workshops, LJMU has a month’s worth of events for all students and staff to get involved in this February.
