4. Win Love to Shop vouchers in our COVID student survey

   To help reduce the spread of Covid, Public Health at Liverpool City Council are conducting a survey of LJMU students.

5. LJMU receives Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence and National Teaching Fellowship

   LJMU is one of 15 teams to win the Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence (CATE) and an LJMU academic has also been awarded one of 54 National Teaching Fellows (NTF). Dr Philip Denton, Principal Lecturer at the School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences, is the recipient of the NTF and the paramedic team at LJMU’s Schools of Nursing and Allied Health received the CATE.

7. LJMU funds 100 interns for local business

   KEY roles in Liverpool businesses are being filled by LJMU undergraduates under a new employability scheme.

   Nursing students at LJMU are officially the most satisfied in the country as voted for by our own students!

9. LJMU donates £10,000 to local charity

   LJMU has donated £10,000 to a local charity on the back of the National Student Survey (NSS) 2022.

10. 'Ask for Martin'

    LJMU and JMSU work hard to support all students who have been victims of harassment and/or assault.  However, the recent reports of increased spiking in clubs and bars in Liverpool and other cities around the UK are extremely concerning and we want to reassure all students that support is available to anyone affected by this issue.
