Entry requirements
The following requirements are a guide only and can differ depending on your course of study and your own personal experience.
A UKVI approved SELT is a compulsory requirement for students applying from Bangladesh.
Academic IELTS and/or an LJMU approved equivalent can be accepted from students who have previously studied at one of the following universities:
- University of Dhaka
- Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET)
- North South University
Students from Bangladesh are required to take part in a Pre-CAS interview before they receive their Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies.
Undergraduate
Applicants must have successfully completed a High School Certificate at an average grade of 60% and in addition to 1 further year of study (for example Diploma (from the Bangladesh Technical Education Board)) Candidates with the correct amount of tariff points, studying for their A-Levels will also be accepted.
Students with the International Baccalaureate Diploma are also welcomed with 27 points or more for first year entry.
Postgraduate
Applicants require a four-year Bachelor degree, with GPA: 2.9/4.0 (for 2:2) / 3.2/4.0 (for 2:1), or a Master's degree.
