Academic entry requirements
The following requirements are a guide only and can differ depending on your course of study and your own personal experience.
Undergraduate
Applicants require A Levels (International or local – Sri Lanka General Certificate of Advanced Level Education)
Postgraduate
Applicants require successful completion of a four-year Bachelor Special or Honours degree, with a CGPA of 2.8/4 or 55% and above; successful completion of a three-year Bachelor General degree, with a CGPA of 3.3/4 or 80% and above; or a UK/IRE/AUS affiliated degree completed within the last five years.
Applicants with a Bachelor General Degree might be considered for postgraduate courses and should be referred to the faculty.

Sri Lankan O-Level English Language Qualification (no expiry date)
Applicants may use the Sri Lankan O-Level English qualification to meet the English language requirements for both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes:
- Sri Lankan O-Level grade B or above for programmes that require IELTS 6.5.
- Sri Lankan O-Level grade C or above for programmes that require IELTS 6.0.
