I am an experienced mental health professional with an extensive background in academia, heath care leadership / management and clinical practice. I re-joined the academic team at Liverpool John Moores University in 2020 after working in Leadership roles in the NHS for the previous 6 years.
I teach on both the pre-registration and post-registration programmes, support the coordination of mental health nursing placements and act as an academic link tutor and personal tutor. I also have a safe from suicide project role within Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust.
My teaching interests include mental health, leadership, co-production, service user engagement, suicide prevention, innovation, quality improvement and psychological therapies.
