Susan Jones

Nursing and Allied Health

I am an experienced and enthusiastic member of the Mental Health Nursing team with extensive experience in Practice. I joined Liverpool John Moore’s University in 2020 as a Senior lecturer having spent 18 years in various nursing roles in Mental Health Practice, in both the North West and Wales. This includes acute nursing, community nursing for the elderly, I was lucky enough to be part of the first wave of crisis resolution and home treatment teams both in England and Wales. Having spent a few years in various roles I chose to specialise in Psychosis.
I teach on both the pre-registration and post-registration programmes, support the coordination of mental health nursing placements and act as an academic link tutor and personal tutor. I am also experience in my role as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and have managed large nursing teams.
