I am a member of the midwifery programme team and cover a range of subjects within my teaching.
My interest in reproductive health extends into sexual health and contraption and I lead our Sexual Health in Practice course. My qualification as a Natural Family Planning Teacher and clinical experience in Sexual Health settings enables me to provide a sound and current foundation for our students. This is enhanced by my membership of the Faculty for Sexual and Reproductive Health.
I have a strong interest in complementary therapies and have used my yoga teacher qualification to provide yoga for pregnancy classes which prove mutually beneficial.
As the Lead Midwife for Education, I am part of a strong network within the UK and Nursing and Midwifery Council.
