Elevate your career journey with Grad Academy at LJMU

Unlock the secrets to success with our Grad Academy programme designed to empower final year students and recent LJMU graduates with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in today's competitive job market.

Join us for comprehensive sessions on crafting competitive applications, mastering STAR interview techniques, expanding your professional network, and decoding employer expectations.

Upon completion of the programme, you'll receive a Grad Academy certificate and digital badge, showcasing your dedication to professional development and setting you apart in the job market.

Grad Academy will run three times during the spring/summer on 14 & 15 May (two-day, in-person programme at Student Life Building), 21 May (one-day, online programme), and 23 July (one-day, online programme).  You only need to attend one of the three options available.

The two-day, in-person Grad Academy programme on 14 and 15 May also offers you the unique opportunity to informally network with leading employers and external professionals, explore and gain an insight into local organisations first hand during site visits, and grow your professional network.  The organisations taking part in the site visits are John Lewis, In-house Legal Solutions, The Brain Charity and Angel Solutions. Additional employers will also join for lunch and networking on Day 2.

Grad Academy is open to all LJMU undergraduate and postgraduate (PGT and PGR) final year students (soon-to-be 2024 graduates!) from any programme, and 2023 LJMU graduates.

Hurry, limited places are available so register now! Don't miss your chance to invest in your future success and embark on a transformative journey towards achieving your career goals!
