Ticket allocation for spring graduation
Your tickets
Tickets are allocated based on the capacity of Liverpool Cathedral (Anglican), prioritising the safety and comfort of students, staff and guests. Please do not contact the university to request extra tickets for your ceremony as we will be unable to respond.
Once registered, students attending graduation during April 2026 will automatically be allocated one ticket for themselves plus three guest tickets for their ceremony.
Receiving your tickets
Students must collect all tickets including their seating card (which they will present when going across the stage) from the LJMU Sport Building on the day of your ceremony.
Please note:
Photo ID is required for ticket collection. Tickets cannot be posted and are non-transferable.
Please do not ask friends or family to collect tickets on your behalf as this is not permitted.
Additional tickets
Tickets are allocated based on the capacity of Liverpool Cathedral (Anglican), prioritising the safety and comfort of students, staff and guests. Please do not contact the university to request extra tickets for your ceremony as we will be unable to respond.
Children
Children under two years of age, who do not have a ticket, will not have a seat. They can sit on a guest’s knee, but not with the student.
Children over the age of two will need their own ticket and will be counted as one of your allocated guest tickets.
Live streaming
We livestream each ceremony for friends and family who do not have tickets to watch your ceremony as it happens. This can be viewed via the LJMU website on the Graduation landing page once each ceremony begins.
We will also host live streaming at the LJMU Sport Building on a first come, first served basis during April 2026 ceremonies.
