Graduation registration for staff
Our graduation ceremonies take place in spring and summer; we no longer hold winter ceremonies.
We are looking for volunteers to help make graduation a day to remember. There is a wide choice of roles for any member of staff to be part of this incredible and important part of the academic calendar. Full training and guidance are given on the day.
Our past, current, and future students are at the heart of the university, and we all play a part in their experiences. So please do register to help them celebrate their achievements.
You will also enjoy the graduation experience yourself!
Roles
Student Usher – you will be working directly with our nervous and excited students. You will be reassuring them and making sure they are seated at the right times. You will also guide them to stand and wait in the order they need to go on stage.
Guest Usher – you will work in the main body of the Cathedral, helping to direct parents and guests, and answer any of their questions. This is a fabulous opportunity to engage with the families.
Procession – you will support the students wearing your academic gown and process through the centre of the Cathedral to the delight of everyone. You will sit on the stage or the front of the congregation throughout the ceremony. Don’t forget to smile for the cameras.
Banner Bearer – this is the opportunity to carry one of the university banners in the procession, with a big smile. It is a very important job, and the banner is not as heavy as you think.
First Aid and Fire Wardens – these are very important roles, but you will not be on your own. We will give a full briefing of fire evacuation on the day…comfy shoes are a definite need!
Important
All staff must register if they wish to attend, even if you have your own gown. LJMU will supply all academic gowns. You must complete your registration by the dates shown above. After these deadline dates, your department will have to organise and pay for private hire of your gown.

If you are receiving an award at one of the ceremonies, please select staff graduate on the Academic Status dropdown list.

- Staff gowning and registration closes: 5pm, Monday 6 July
New staff members
If you are a new staff member or have any technical issues/problems logging into the Enet registration site, please contact Ede and Ravenscroft Support.
Staff registration
You will register directly with Ede and Ravenscroft.
Please follow the instructions below to register and order your gown.
Confirmation of attendance is sent to you in the week prior to Graduation.
You will collect your gown on the day from the Sir Giles Gilbert Scott Suite at Liverpool Cathedral.
Follow these steps to register your attendance and order your gown:
- Log in to the registration system
- Logging In: To access GradHub you must log in with your credentials - your email address and password - that have been provided to you. These are usually sent to your institution email address. If you are a staff member logging in you will either receive an email from your university or direct from GradHub. If you have any difficulty logging into GradHub please email a support request to gradhubsupport@edeandravenscroft.com.
- Forgotten Password: If you have forgotten your password or need to reset it select ‘Forgot Password’ below the login button. Enter the email address associated with your account and an email will be sent allowing you to reset your password. The email address used must already be added to GradHub by your university for the email to be sent out. If you are a new user trying to access please contact your university or GradHub support.
- New Staff: If you are a staff member accessing GradHub for the first time you will land on an onboarding page. This page is used to store the information we would need to provide you with the correct attire for attendance at institutional graduation ceremonies.
- Staff member - Dashboard: Once you are logged in you will see the main dashboard. From this dashboard you can respond to ceremony invitations, receive messages from your institution and purchase academic dress.
- Ceremonies currently taking bookings will be displayed on your dashboard. If a ceremony has passed or is no longer accepting responses it will be listed as ‘Closed’. If a ceremony requires your response to an invitation you will see two options - Attend or Decline. If you select ‘Attend’ a new screen will open for you to confirm that you are attending and which ceremony time(s) you are attending. Ensure you select the box for all times/days you are attending and then select ‘Send’.
- Once you have selected ‘Send’ you will see a new section at the bottom of the screen detailing the ceremonies you are attending. If you wish to amend attendance status select the ‘Edit Attendance’ link.
- If you need to check or update any personal details, education details or attire requirements relating to your GradHub staff account, you can access the ‘My Account’ area by selecting the person icon located in the top right.
No longer able to attend
If you find that you are no longer able to attend after you have registered, and the registration deadline date has passed, please email the graduation team.
