Ticket allocation

Your tickets

Tickets are limited by the capacity of Liverpool Anglican Cathedral to keep students, staff and guests safe and comfortable. Please do not contact the university to request extra tickets, because we cannot provide additional tickets or respond to these requests.

Students who have registered for graduation and have been conferred, will automatically be allocated:

  • one ticket for themselves
  • up to three guest tickets for their ceremony

We aim to provide each student with three guest tickets. However, the final number of tickets depends on how many students register for each ceremony. We will be able to confirm the number of allowed guests after registration closes.

Receiving your tickets

You can only collect your tickets on the day of your ceremony at the LJMU Sport Building.

They will not be posted and they are non-transferable.

Only the graduating student will be allowed to collect their tickets.

You must present photo ID to collect your ticket envelope.

Additional tickets

Please do not contact us to request extra tickets. We cannot respond to these requests.

Children

Children under two years of age do not need a ticket, but they will not have their own seat. They must sit on a guest’s knee, not the student’s.

Children over the age of two will need their own ticket and will be counted as one of your allocated guest tickets.

Live streaming

Each ceremony is broadcast for friends and family who do not have tickets so they can watch your ceremony as it happens. The live stream goes live as each ceremony starts.

You can see the live stream video in the Live Streaming Room in the LJMU Sports Building. The seats available in this room are on a first come, first served basis.
