Meeting the demands of health, education and the community
As a multi-site and multi-discipline faculty, we are working collaboratively, particularly across health, sport and education. We are home to over 5,000 students and are committed to providing an intellectually stimulating environment to ensure our graduates are prepared as global citizens of the 21st century who meet and exceed employers’ expectations. Students within the Faculty receive a cutting-edge educational experience informed by our research, scholarship and real-world experience. All of our courses offer placement opportunities. We work closely with a wide range of both public and private sector organisations to ensure our students have the knowledge, skills and experience to meet the demands of the increasingly challenging health, education and community sectors.

Our Centre for Public Health is at the forefront of applied research working with world-leaders including the World Health Organisation, the National Institute of Health Research, the Department of Health and more. We're tackling today's health issues such as drugs, violence, obesity and the environment, to name just a few.
When it comes to educational research, within our Centre for Educational Research we are working on projects across early years, primary, secondary and higher education; sports education; leadership studies and both formal and informal learning.
