My PhD research is investigating sexualised drug use among LGBT people. This is divided into two research projects: an online quantitative questionnaire; and qualitative interviews. It is hoped that this research will provide reasons as to why people engage in certain sexualised drug use, how it impacts on physical and mental wellbeing, and whether the public health issue is observed in all LGBT people, or mostly in men who have sex with men (MSM).
Before starting my PhD, I worked for Public Health England in the HIV/STI department, working on HIV epidemiology.
