Surendra Basnet is currently PhD student at Public Health Institute under the supervision of Prof. Padam Simkhada and Dr. Gordon Hay from PHI, LJMU. His PhD is a mixed method study based upon prospective data through diary method followed by in-depth interviews to understand and analyse expenditures patterns of remittance receiving households in Dhading ,Nepal.
