Hidden motives
Want to know your unconscious drive?
Are you interested in taking part in a research project that aims to identify the impact of implicit motives on effort and reveals if you’re most motivated by power, achievement or affiliation?
We are inviting you to come take part in a research study titled Examining the impact of the implicit power motive and clarity of task demand on effort-related cardiovascular activity.
Who can take part in this study
- You must be 18 years or above.
- Do not sign up if you have a pacemaker.
What the study will involve
If you to decide to participate in our study, we will measure your cardiovascular activity using a blood pressure cuff and impedance cardiography. You will then watch one of two film clips, – ‘The Negotiator’ or ‘Kingdom of Plants’ and be asked to complete the Stenberg Memory Task and the multi-motive questionnaire to identify your hidden motives. Full instructions will be provided at every stage of the experiment.
