Ticket allocation for summer graduation

Your tickets

Tickets are allocated based on the capacity of Liverpool Cathedral (Anglican), prioritising the safety and comfort of students, staff and guests. Please do not contact the university to request extra tickets for your ceremony as we will be unable to respond.

Once registered, students attending graduation during July 2024 will automatically be allocated one ticket for themselves plus up to three guest tickets for their ceremony. We will aim to provide all students with three guest tickets, but please be aware that ticket allocation will depend on the total number of students attending each ceremony and cannot be confirmed until after registration closes on 10 June.

Receiving your tickets

Students must collect all tickets including their seating card (which they will present when going across the stage) from the LJMU Sport Building on the day of your ceremony.

Please note
Photo ID is required for ticket collection. Tickets will not be posted and are non-transferable.
Please do not ask friends/family to collect tickets on your behalf as this is not permitted.

Additional tickets

Please do not contact us about extra tickets as we will not respond.

Children

Children under two years of age, who do not have a ticket, will not have a seat. They can sit on a guest’s knee, but not with the student.

Children over the age of two will need their own ticket and will need to be counted as one of your allocated guest tickets.

Live streaming

We livestream each ceremony for friends and family who do not have tickets to watch your ceremony as it happens. This can be viewed via the LJMU website on the Graduation landing page once each ceremony begins.

We will also host live streaming at the LJMU Sport Building on a first come first served basis during July 2024 ceremonies.

Digital recordings

If you wish to purchase a DVD recording of your ceremony, or have any queries about DVDs from previous ceremonies, please contact iamagraduate.com.
