Staff Doctoral Research Network

Supporting the development of academic staff toward doctoral degrees

The CERES "Staff Doctoral Research Network" is aimed at all LJMU staff who are undertaking or who would like to undertake doctoral degrees. Established in 2020 the group aims to provide a regular forum for staff to meet and share their experiences related to studying toward doctoral degrees while working. Members include those working towards the PhD by Published Works as well as traditional PhDs or professional doctorates. The Network aims to meet regularly throughout the academic year, and arrange bespoke events, as well as opportunities for research training, sharing and informal networking and discussion, in a supportive and collegial atmosphere.

Whatever stage you are at with your doctoral degree, whether just thinking about it or several years down the road, please join us – you are sure of a warm welcome and an opportunity to share your expectations and meet likeminded staff.
