Nursing, midwifery and paramedic science

Be at the frontline of patient care

Our courses are developed to meet the education needs of pre- and post-registration practitioners operating in an ever-changing healthcare landscape.

The School of Nursing and Allied Health's pre-registration nursing, midwifery and paramedic degrees provide a 50:50 split between theory and practical work-based learning. Supervised clinical practice is a key part of your course and you’ll develop your skills, knowledge and experience while on placement in the many different healthcare settings.

For NMC and HCPC registered clinical practitioners, our range of professional top-up degrees, masters programmes and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses ensure you can meet your re-validation criteria and take your career to the next level.

Based in the Faculty of Health's flagship Tithebarn Building, our professional-standard clinical simulation suites and modern learning environments are conveniently located in Liverpool city centre and easily accessible by public and private transport.
