A drop-in session to learn more about Bibliotherapy. An introduction to the books available and more information on our reading and writing for wellbeing groups. Facilitated by Debbie Burns (LJMU Counsellor).

An introduction to Mindfulness is a brief taster session, intended to be accessible to anyone who would like to know more about Mindfulness, and how it might benefit your everyday life. The workshop is experiential with a chance to try out mindfulness practices in an informal, and supportive environment. It is based on the popular book ‘Mindfulness: a Practical Guide to Finding Peace in a Frantic World’ by Mark Williams and Danny Penman. The session is facilitated by Brodie MacPhee – LJMU Counsellor.

This workshop is part 1 of 3 (However you do not need to have attended all 3 to attend). This session looks at heartbreak and tears, how we use masks and roles plus grief and loss.
